History
St. Joseph was founded April 28 1881 and has rapidly grown to over 3000 people since then. There is a grocery store, gas station, hardware store, fitness centers, apothecary, tanning salons, nail salon, beauty and barber shops, florist, real estate offices, auto repair shops, auction house, mulitple insurance agents multiple antique stores and malls, video stores, 5 restaurants and other unique stores.
St. Joseph also have one dentist, one doctor, one orthodontist, and two chiropractors. Also a grade school, middle school and high school. The community has public baseball diamonds, softball diamonds, tennis court, soccer fields, and an all weather track.
There are two large parks for other receational needs. The library is part of the Lincoln Taril Libraries System and has many active organizations such as American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Boy Scouts, Christian your organizations, 4-H, Home Extension, Masonic Lodge, Senior Citizens, many organized sports and Women's clubs.
There are six churches in St. Joseph and they are Church of Christ, Faith Baptist Church, The Living Word, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Savior Lutheran Church and United Methodist Church.
